  Do not attend a school where the learning is "self-directed". That generally means they plop you into a class with a book and a computer and tell you to learn the material. Most employers DON'T want that kind of grad. Find a school with proper teachers and a career services department that actually helps you find a job. Ask whatever school you plan to attend for the names of employers who have taken their grads. Ask them if they can talk to some of their grads - both employed and unemployed about the learning experience. Ask if you can sit in on a couple of classes - this will give you an idea of what the teaching level is like and if you are going to be able to stand sitting in class
