Is Sikkim Manipal University affiliated from ugc?

Are sikkim manipal university & ICFAI fake? Are their approval pending by UGC?

• Why have the UGC put the name of Sikkim manipal university & ICFAI in the public notice about fake private universities even though SMU & ICFAI has the approval from DEC and UGC? I have read somewhere that "according to ugc act 1956, state, state open university, deemed university cannot open study centres in other states of India or cannot accept admission through franchisee, agents. they can conduct distance courses in its main campus only. Now this means that if sikkim manipal or icfai is running its study center then is it violating ugc rules and is it approval pending by ugc. Or if it is approved by ugc but only those courses are valid which are run under campus but all those admission in study centres aren't valid, is that is the case? So if I do distance learning mba from sikkim manipal university, will it not be valid degree? pls help
