What is the expansion of SIM CARD?

Parts of my iPhone touch screen do not work when SIM card is inserted.?

• iPhone 3G, 8 GB Whenever I insert a SIM card into the SIM card tray and into my iPhone, the bottom 20-25% of my iPhone's touchscreen does not work. Sometimes it is different - say, the bottom 20% and another 15% near the middle. Or, there are oddities like tapping on the Safari icon (it is next to my Mail icon in the bottom dock) when activate my Mail app. All it wonderful and good after my SIM card is removed. Does anyone else have/had this problem and maybe know a solution? I have tried restarting, NOT restoring yet, because I believe this is a hardware issue. I will restore if I believe it will help. On another note, any solutions requiring the power button will be useless, because my iPhone has a broken button. I also noted that one time I took my SIM out and parts of the screen would not work. I took a ball pump and sprayed some air inside the SIM slot, and it worked again. It is also worth noting that once, only once, I inserted a SIM card in there and everything worked fine. But, my iPhone is not unlocked (yet, I filed a request), so I put my SIM back where it belonged - in my BB. But yeah, I have tried multiple SIMs, so it is not un problemo de SIM.

  This could be the technical issue... Report it to the service to get things fixed... Good luck!
