Why am I afraid of infatuation?

Why does infatuation make some people act like jerks and behave "badly"?

  • I've seen guys a few times act "bad" when they like me, until they find out I'm attracted to them, and all of a sudden they act normal. I've seen my female friends do that countless times as well, complain and argue when they like the guy. Why would attraction make someone act aggressive and bad?

  • Answer:

You need to watch the Film "He's just not that into you" Basically, from a young age we are taught to believe that if a guy acts like a jerk, he likes you. It's not true. If he acts like a jerk, it's cause he is a jerk.

The clue is in the question... infatuation... it is not logical or reasonable, not scientific or a medical condition... it is like someone randomly grabbed a bunch of neural fibers and yanked them out of your brain... things just don't work like they did anymore.

Because most drama filled high school douchebags think that people like the bad boy type of person. And ususally, they're right. For the moment...
