What do I do if I don't have enough points to get an id?

• I tried to get an id recently but I need 6 points to get one. My old expired id is too old to give points and I don't have enough things from their list to get 6 points. Does this mean I'm stuck without an id forever? What do people do that don't have and can't get enough points? I'm in NY.

  I do not understand your 6 points thing. You need the MV-44 form filled out. You need proof of your birth date(certified copy of your birth certificate or a passport), you need proof of your identity(passport, utility bills(in your name), school ID), you need your SS card, and the fee($$) for the card. These are documents you need to conduct life's business. Get these items and keep them in a safe place for the rest of your life.
