Is there any way to get a G2 license Right after your G1?

I know its 1 year (8 months with driving school) but i need it now for work!

Hello Josh, The Phantom Schticky is right. It's either you are renewing or have a foreign licence from another country (conditions apply!) - that you are eligible for a road test right after getting your G1 licence. No other way, sorry.

Only one way: If you've had a valid licence before and it lapsed, and now you're getting it back. But if it's your first time, no way. If you're thinking of driving alone with a G1, don't. The tickets are wickedly expensive, and just one of those tickets will put you into insurance hell for at least three years. You really don't want to see what insurance will cost if you get that ticket on your record, and they do check.
