Whats the difference between bilingual certificate in extended french and honours in bilingual extended french?

Is there a difference, such as in the career area to have 7 credits or 8 credits in extended french? Will it make much of a difference to have a good career? Can someone please explain both sides of beneficial causes and how I might obtain a good career with either 7 credits in extended french or 8 credits in extended french? if it's only one extra credit, might be worth it to get the honours certificate but from industry/career perspective, if you are able to communicate in french sufficiently, they don't usually care what your official certifications are
