Did Episode 10 of Clannad make you shed a tear?

well, i got some very bad advice on clannad. first of all, its a wonderful anime that goes on steroids in season 2, and is sad, but it doesnt really make you cry that often. kanon i felt was more cry-worthy, but clannad is a more well put together anime that really explores a lot of different things. everyone says clannad will make u cry and all but i wouldnt go that far. its still a superb anime, and you have to watch the whole thing to enjoy it because it just builds and builds and builds slowly..

Yea they both made me cry the one that made me cry the most from clanned was when they all tried to get the main guys best friend back in the soccer club. Than right before the club members hit his sister, he came out of no where, than him and the main guy beat them all up. I love both of those animes

yes, and get ready to shed more tears because kotomi's arc is also beautiful, and once you hit the latter half of after story, get ready to empty several boxes of tissue paper.

I've personally never cried watching anime/movies/tv/anything, but Clannad (the first season) didn't seem too sad to me compared to the second season (even though it's extremely predictable)

Ha. You ain't seen nothing yet. Episodes 16 through 22 of the second season are an emotional rollercoaster ride that makes the entire first season look weak by comparison.

I don't think I cried at all during the first season, but I definitely can't say the same for the second season.
