Should I minor in Information Systems with a bachelors in accounting?

What major should I choose - Accounting, Finance, or Management information systems?

• I'm not a super outgoing person, if that helps at all. I don't have the desire to travel a lot. I want to be able to pick where I live...which is why I'm liking these majors...the job won't be making me move, I'll get to pick where I want to go, and I will be able to find a job at least somewhat nearby. Are any of these majors better than the other? I like the sound of MIS, because I like technology, and I am good at sitting at a computer all day haha, but programming is not my forte. My parents think that I should get into accounting (my dad is in accounting). I don't really have a "dream job." The careers that I've researched for accounting and finance seem somewhat dull, but if I don't have a dream job, then who cares I guess. Plus, they seem pretty promising in terms of job stability. I don't need to LOVE what I'm doing, I just want to have a steady income, and I have to not hate the job. Also, I would one day in the far future love to have a business, a store of some sort - in that case, which of these majors would be most beneficial? (I also plan on getting a minor in something computer/tech. related). Thanks!

  why don't you do something intelligent and scientific like biology or chemistry or physics and expand humanity's knowledge of the universe instead of being another person dedicating their lives to money and its acquisition? none of those majors would be that great for owning a business anyway. the most accounting you'll need if you're a store owner is your basic accounting class.
