How to record PS3 gameplay?

  • Ok so I want to know first. I have a Cable box from Time Warner cable, Can I record gameplay using that? and if so, how do I get the recording out? If I cant record with it then I still have a recorder but I want to try this first. Now is it possible to record using only the colored cables cables that come with consoles? (the red white and yellow, but this one has it on both sides). If I can, then do I connect them from recorder to Tv, OR recorder to console? Any help is well appreciated. And Thanks in advance.

    Eh, if you really wanna record, buy a program meant for game recording. Id either get the HDPVR or Black Magic Intensity Pro. If you want something cheap and not in HD, go with Dazzle.

Yeah your going to need a game recorder i have one from roxio ... i believe it records in 720p and it comes with a video editor. Its called roxio game capture recorder. http://www.justgameblogger.com/

The most efficient way of recording your PS3 is an HDPVR. They aren't too cheap but they work the best.
