What is the sims 2 pets like on psp is it like the pc free roam one please help ??

ive got a psp and im trying to find some good games ide like and i love sims but i have it on ds and pc i have the normal sims 2 on psp but i dont really like it i like the free roam sims and before i but the sims 2 pets i want to no if it is a free roam game or is it like the normal sims 2 psp game where you have to do tasks please answer i want to get it tomorow but i dont want to waste my money p.s if you know any good free roam games for psp that would be a grate help thank :)
