When does target.com restock?

Hi, here's a Skyrim question. Does anyone know how long does the stable in Whiterun to restock their horses?

  • I do not own any horse in Skyrim at the moment, but every time I went to the stable in Whiterun, I don't see any horses and if I ask to purchase a horse the guy just said he sold the last one to me. The problem is I did buy a horse from Whiterun, but it died and the stable just doesn't seem to restock. I went to other stables in different city and they do have horses and restock them after I purchase them. Its not a major problem but it's just bugging me that the Whiterun stable doesn't seem to restock their horses. I've search every city in Skyrim just in case my horse from Whiterun is still alive and all but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Can anyone help me? Or does it happen to you as well? The Whiterun stable has been empty for about a month in reality now, not in-game month. And I play Skyrim almost everyday, yet the Whiterun stable never seem to restock itself.

  • Answer:

I think all the Stables are supposed to restock, after your horse gets killed. That's what I read from the Prima Guide. either it could be a small glitch, or your horse is still alive. My questions Did your actually see your horse die, or did something chase it down, and the horse left the scene? Did you go into a dungeon, and leave your horse outside? Did your forget where you left it? Have you tried fast traveling to a location? Usually the game will tell you that your horse is in the stables or will be there when you get there. If you check all of those, and still no horse, I don't know what to tell you, all you can do is buy a new horse. Personally, I don't use the horses, I'd rather walk. They are a pain to me.... Riding down the road, and an enemy comes up, then I gotta get off the horse, draw my weapon. When you get off the horse, the horse attacks the enemy, and gets in your way, then the horse realizes that he can't take the enemy, and runs off. Then I gotta defeat the enemy, and go run down the horse.
