How to make a video game.?

  • Look guys. I have the most epic idea. I want to make a game. Similar to Grand Theft Auto. I already have planned the people, cars, the map, npc's, weapons, and actions of the player and a PLOT. I have everything. Exept, the software. I have no idea how to make a video game. I only have paper, pencil, ipod, and a high speed laptop. What software do I need to make a good graphics game? Note: I do not know anything about video game making.

    Making a game takes an intense amount of work. You need people that are skilled in modelling and doing the graphical part of the game ..etc. Ofcourse there are basic programs such as 'gamemaker' in which you can create basic games. Obviously nothing as advanced as consoles games etc. Goodluck mate
