How the f**k do you score in EA Sports NHL 10?

• I recently got this game used and have started playing it with a friend. My passing is very good, I nearly always have at least 10 more shots on goal than my opponent, I am on offense longer per game, BUT I CANNOT SCORE. Its pissing me off super bad. Yes, I am mad bro. Even when I play against the Avalanche, who have a sh*tty goalie, I couldnt score if my life depended on it. But when my friend gets the puck, he scores on the first f*cking shot. WTF??????!?!?! Why is so easy for the other team to score on these b*llsh*t little shots, but every time I shoot, it goes literally straight to the goalie. The left stick, which is supposted to be for aiming shots, does absolutely nothing. Can someone explain to me why it is so hard for me to score? I already know I suck, so dont be immature. Thanks.   It's all about handling the puck.. make the goalie go one way, pull it around and in the goal. One-timers is also a good move in ANY hockey game... gives the goalie very little time to react. Mastering one-timers is an easy way to score if your handling is no good. If your playing by yourself your teammates should automatically try to set themselves up for it, just have to look for the hole to pass it to em.
