I need some advice on being a movie critic. Anybody got any tips?

I want to be a movie critic and right now I'm thinking of watching movies and writing my reviews on word and later posting them on Facebook for everyone to read. Anyone got any advice on how to write a good review?

when you are talking about a movie and reviewing it there are several things that would help you 1. you should have a broad range of movie genres that you watch (a review about a romantic movie is out of context when it is written by someone who only watches action) 2. take into consideration the story and the actual quality of the movie instead of smaller things like catch phases or jokes (although if it a review about a comedy it might be worth noting the quality of the jokes) 3. be impartial. you can't give a movie a good review just because it has you favorite actor/ actress or is based on a favorite book hope this helped
