How to download music on iTunes?

So I'm a little lost right now so I'll give you step by step with where im at ad hopefully someone can help me I downloaded iTunes. On the side of the screen it saids *Library and it has "Music Movies Tv Shows Radio" And then it saids *Store and it has iTunes store iTunes Match and this name called "Ping" What is that? It's telling me that I have to type in my apple Id? This computer is an hp computer. I never had an apple computer. or AOL. (I clicked on the iTunes Store and Match and I DON"T want to use any of that. I'm just trying to download music the old fashion way where you search up the song or artist you want and it'll start downloading. I can't pay for any music And then it has this link called genius And then playlist names like iTunes DJ iTunes90's music Classic Music and etc. All I'm trying to do is download music nad create playlists. Also, you need to create an Apple ID in order to purchase tracks on Itunes, etc. If you want to download music, you can use websites like this. http://mp3crank.com Find an album you like, and scroll down and click download. Once it finishes, just unzip the folder and place it into Itunes.. Easy.
