How do you erase the history on your iPod touch?

PLEASE HELP! How do you erase memory off of a disabled ipod touch?

  • my ipod has been disabled for, over a month now and i want to erase its memory. But i got a new computer, and when i connect the ipod to itunes, it won't let me sync it until i unlock it. and the ipod doesn't show me how long it will be disabled for. it just says "iPod is disabled. connect to itunes" so does anyone know how to erase the memory at all? please help

  • Answer:

I'm assuming if you can't get onto it that it is stolen... Look for a restore setting on iTunes.

Hey this happened to me before too and i went without my iPod for a month lol. But anyways if you get your device into DFU mode and connect it to any iTunes there will be a restore button. Just click the restore button and it will reset your iPod to factory settings with the latest iOS. Use this video to help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bITIiGswjFI . Hope it works :)
