How come some people say a long distance relationship isnt a real relationship?

• im in a long distance relationship and it is a real relationship but why people say it isnt a real relationahip? just becuz we cant have sex or kiss or hug doesnt mean its not a relationship. i know its easier for the partner to cheat but thats more about trust. my bf and i trust eachother soo much. we exchanged our passwords for email and facebook and i looked in his messages he talks to other girls but if i ask him he will tell me who they are and all that stuff. but anyway why do people say long distance relationships arent a real relationship?

  I think it's more the fact that you've never met each other in person which makes it harder to say the realtionship is real. I know this is extremely unlikely in your case, but other people might think you're talking to a paedophile/pervert, or you could just be making it up!
