Nausea/Itching/Burning Sensation in throat, What to do?
-
This same thing was what used to cause me to vomit when I was younger. After a few years, it went away. These past few months I have been hit with many stomach viruses and am pretty much prone to vomiting at the drop of the hat, so maybe that's part of it. I am not pregnant, though. I had a quick supper of a slice of pizza last night and woke up around 4:30 this morning with an "acidy" feeling in my throat. I took a tum. It didn't go away, so I took a gaviscon. (quite used to have acid reflux) Then it switched into something else all together. I could disgustingly taste the pizza in an acid form and I can't get rid of it. I've taken nausea medicine for the rolling nausea. The acid is burning and my throat is extremely itchy. The nausea is just barely there now, but the horrible taste is still there, even after brushing my teeth rigorously. It'll come up, I'll take a tums, it will go down. I cough, it comes up but it never seems to come up enough for me to rid it from my system. Everytime it does this, the nausea worsens a little bit at a time. It's become a vicious cycle, these last thirty minutes. I have a class soon and really need to get back to bed, but that's not happening if I can't get this to go away. I've never known of a stomach problem other than acid reflux happening every day or every other day. I've never been diagnosed with anything other than thyroid disease a year ago. If that is of any importance. I just need this to go away.

Answer:
Doctors will tell you it is acid reflux. I had it for years. Then I figured out they were right about the diagnosis, but were wrong for not telling me why I had it. The food that causes reflux is food you are not able to digest, it just sets in your stomach and rots. That takes way longer than the natural 4 hours for digestion, miserably long. It may be the bread in the pizza, do you feel bad after consuming a lot of bread? It could be the spices, do you tolerate spices well? It could be the meat, Pepperoni is the worst culprit of all. Only you can figure out what it was and don't eat what causes reflux anymore. I am currently living in a mansion that we are cleaning to get it ready to sell and the woman who died, had a bad case of reflux. It eventually gave her throat cancer. I am happy to say the years of reflux for me are thankfully over! But not without a lot of tears, cause it is a known fact in the holistic field, that the foods you love the most are the ones that cause you the most pain. I had to give up some huge favorites to get well. Good Luck! Oh yeah, bread absorps acid...but only if you are not allergic to bread.
