Fraxel Laser treatment for surgery scar?

• i have a scar thats about 1cm long, and a part of the scar is sunken, not very much, but if you get close to my face you will see it, the scar is one month old and is still red, i have a consultation for fraxel laser treatment, do you think it will be worth it, as the fraxel laser treatment is expensive?

  I wouldn't do it. If the scar is only one month it has not healed completely yet. Most scars take a good year or two before they completely heal. I had a friend that got cut with a razor down her face...(this girl tried to hurt her bad)...but anyway this happened back in 2003 in highschool right before prom. I seen her like 5 years later. The scar is still there, but it's barely visible anymore. The scar stretched from her ear all the way to the crease of her lips...it was way longer than 1cm (I know that much for sure) and after all these years the scar is about 3 cm long now. It looks good.
