How can I stop eating so much?

  • I'm in high school and on the swim team. Every day after swim practice I come home and eat 1/2 my kitchen. I eat dinner, cereal, popcorn, chocolate, and anything else I can find. I'm an eating machine! I really would like to change my habits and slim down before summer. Can anyone help me? Any tips or advice to help me eat normal portions of food would be so helpful! thanks!

You actually probably do this because you are so hungry after a long day. Try bringing a larger lunch to eat at school and eating a bigger breakfast so you won't come home and be starving and inhale your kitchen

You're a swimmer! Get used to it...you are normal! I eat like 5/6 meals a day on days I swim. On days you don't swim, make a meal plan and stick to it. On swim days, eat a ton, but healthy food. =)

Eat fiber and drink water! They both fill your stomach and make you less hungry. Every time you're hungry drink something...you could just be thirsty. FiberOne bars taste great, are healthy, and fill you up!

try to keep a planner of what you eat keep it around 2000 calories. fruit/yogurt/nuts are healthy exchanges.
