Can i use almond flour to cook anything?

i mean anything! if a gluten free flour says i need "gluten free flour' doesnt say what, rice,potato,coconut ect can i use almond? also when they say gluten free flour mix, can i use just almonds

If you're making a pastry, like cookies or cakes or pie dough, you will want to use a gluten-free flour like potato starch, cornstarch, rice flour, etc. You can easily substitute up to 40% of these flours with almond flour or other types of nut flours if you're trying to cut back on carbohydrates, but if you substitute much more than 40% with a nut flour, the final texture of your pastry could be quite different from the what the recipe intended.
