How to cook hamburgers: How long to cook hamburgers on stove top and how high should the fire be?
-
What ingredients/seasoning do you usually add?
-
Answer:
Sometimes I add a light sprinkle of montreal steak seasoning...otherwise just salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Make the patties fatter around the edges tha in the center. Place patty on a preheated skillet or griddle med/high heat. When the edges have become brown and the blood has pooled up in the middle, flip the patty. Let cook for about another 5 minutes on med/high heat. The exact timing will depend on the thickness of yoru patty's and how well done you like them. Two rules to hamburgers...never squish them flat with your spatula and only flip them once.
