How do you write a theme based essay?

I have an argument based essay/report to write for a course I'm studying?

  • I have to argue for or against a point of view. I've chosen to go against as I have more evidence relating to this. 1. How do I begin? 2. What structure should the essay/report take? 3. What would be a decent number of words to use as non specified

  • Answer:

    To begin with, take your stand i.e, are you for or against. And give a short introduction, say four or five lines as to why. For the main body, you should have at least five points supporting your point of view. Eg: If the topic is for/against television, you could say you are against it by giving examples of addiction, derogatory effect to imagination etc and give examples for every point. A decent number of words would be around 350 words. Hope this helped :)
