Question About Double Majoring?

Question about both majoring and minoring in something?

  • i want to major in criminal justice and minor in psychology. how hard is it to take on something like this instead of just majoring in something and not minoring in anything at all? would this even benefit me in the future or is it just going to be a waste?

  • Answer:

Since you can simply make a minor out of your required elective credits, it's not any harder to minor in something than not. However, many colleges don't offer psychology minors - it's useless as a minor. You need at least a masters in the field to do anything with it and you can't get into grad school with only a minor. But you can take a bunch of psychology classes even if they don't offer an official minor.

If you're interested in it, go for it. I'm a double major with a minor, and I'm thinking about a second minor as well, and I work at McDonald's. You can handle any amount of work if you put your mind to it.
