How to transfer money from paypal to checking account?

I just activated my paypal account and confirmed it instantly with my online bank, it says it was approved, but when I go to transfer funds it tells me to confirm my email address. I tried signing out and back in. I haven't linked my debit or credit card because I thought just adding the checking account would be enough so that I would be able to transfer Paypal money to my bank account
