How to transfer money without a bank account? Singapore?

• um basically the title explains it all but -i dont have a bank acc but i would like to transfer money to someone's acc because im buying some merchandise from them -somebody told me i could just walk to a bank counter and ask them to help me transfer the money questions: is there a minimum as to how much you can transfer? because im not buying anything extraordinarily expensive, just around the 20-40 range. is there a limit for any bank in singapore? and is there a minimum age for me to carry out this transfer? im like 15 thankyou!

  You can transfer money via wire transfer. OF course there is a fee for this at the bank from which you're sending the money. And..... there may be a fee at the bank that is recieving the money at the seller's end. Usually the fee at the sending end is $15 - $25. The seller will be disappointed if ANY money is taken out at his end. So, although this is viable, it is not practical. Your next best bet is to send money via Western Union, but it's VERY expensive. Or perhaps Money Gram. The most economical way to send the money would be via an international US Postal Money Order. You'd have to mail it of course. and then wonder if it ever arrived at the seller's location. All around, what you suggest is a bad idea, and if you can find someone with a Paypal account, to do this on your behalf, that may be the best route. Best of luck.
