Can I use a prepaid credit card to put funds on my US Playstation Network Account?

I live in AUSTRALIA and have just created a United States PLAYSTATION NETWORK ACCOUNT as there store seems to have much more then the Australian Store.I am wondering how to add funds to the US Account, can I use a prepaid credit card that you can get from the Post Office. Or does anyone know any other way to add funds to the US PSN Account
