What were some programs from the New Deal?

Im new to microsoft products so what can i get with office and what can i do with other programs like office?

• what can i really do with office im trying to make business cards,brochures,flyer's and website templates and just manage my notes i right down every day i have piles of notes,documents,letters,mail and mettings,sales sheets. and trips i would like to plan. and just organize every thing i need to organize and other stuff too. i would like to manage better and creat new stuff i need a good over view of microsoft office word and excel and onenote and other products. what programs would i need to best organize these things with. what can these programs provide me and what one would best suit me.

  Word can make all of your business cards, calendars, flyers etc. Excel is for spreadsheets. It can be used to store large amounts of data, especially numerical data such as financial transactions, inventories, or trend data (such as if you have multiple temperature sensors and you want to make a graph plotting multiple temperatures over time). Access is a database program similar to excel in some ways, but it is a bit more geared toward general information rather than numerical information and it takes some time to set up each database. Access is good for storing personnel files, inventory data, book collection indexes, etc. Access takes a good bit of time to learn to use well. There are alternatives to Microsoft office. Open office ( www.openoffice.org ) has a full office suite which can do almost all of the same things as Microsoft office and it is completely free (though the interface isn't as pretty). Also, there are numerous books and classes you can take on just Microsoft office. The programs have so many options and abilities that it can take months of playing with to learn the majority of features alone. Getting a book or taking a class is highly recommended.
