GS: Have you ever had dry spell when it came to asking questions?
-
where as you have asked all the questions you would want to ask and could think of asking - you was just left dry of anything to ask? I personally have been going through this lately and decided to ask a question about not having any questions to ask. Now I'm sure many of you on are never really short of questions to ask whether it silly humorous questions, serious questions, debatable questions, opinion questions, polls, troll questions etc. But does the lack of real interesting Q's and possibly boredom drive you to asking random questions just to ask questions? Your thoughts?

Answer:
Honestly, I've never run out of questions because I don't have a lot of questions to begin with. I've noticed that by the time I convince myself to post a question, someone already posts it [and there are certain men and women here who think like me], so I end up answering questions that I intended to ask. If you're talking about really interesting questions [as opposed to regular, run of the mill questions], it's actually complex issue - the right set of answerers should also be present, like people who understand where you're coming from. You can post an interesting question and receive dumb answers purely because of bad timing. Not sure if you've noticed this - a truly interesting question about life or something that affects us all usually gets 3-5 answers but the silliest of the questions gets 23 stars and 88 answers mainly because the questioner has the picture of a 16 yo white chick with her t-its popping out in their avatar, what with many men and lexbians hitting on said user. Sadly, that can't be avoided. We are who we are. Edit - oh, wow at the lies in here.

A "self-induced" dry spell... I had a reportnik following me for awhile, but when they were notified that my questions were being reinstated, they stopped reporting me...=)

Yes. It is equivalent to reaching orgasm after some furious hot sex. The road there is AWESOME, but afterward I'm completely spent. The thing is, nobody really knows whether they've clicked on my climax or not. Yeah, think about that the next time you press "answer question" to one of mine.

I ask as they occur to me. If I'm bored, I'll click back a while and recycle one to ask in a different category

No but I do have dry spells where no one answers my questions or maybe 2 people at most. Sometimes I think people miss the point of my questions.(this is especially apparent when people go on a rant) Example: I recently asked a question of what people would do if everyone on here could hurt them. I wondered if it would alter their behavior. I asked this in response to an earlier question of mine where someone stated that they are anonymous online and therefore have no qualms about being rude to others. I was wondering if, the rest of society had some kind of "control" over them, that they would either try to be more courteous or go on a rant because they felt like they couldn't trust anyone. Yet despite my asking them to suspend disbelief I received the exact response that I was trying to avoid, everyone chose to try and argue the validity of them being able to be hurt as opposed to how it would affect their behavior. So in reality no one actually answered my question. Other times people simply use my questions as a way to fuel their own agenda be it one of peace or one of spite and ignorance. Maybe I don't explain things clearly enough or maybe I explain them too much but it often gets me discouraged when I ask questions that almost no one answers. And somehow I get the most answers to two types of questions: - simple basic questions that really require no actual thought -questions meant to insight anger/ offensive questions that get a knee-jerk response Meanwhile questions that get the least answers: -Questions I actually really want people's opinions on
