What kind of jobs can you get with an associate's degree in social work?

I was looking at going into social work and I was wondering if you can get a job with an Associates degree?
Answer:

The Associates degree in many subjects is a stepping stone for transferrring into a Bachelors program. I have never seen any "professional" social work positions where they are looking for individuals with only an associates degree. I obtained my associates degree and transferred into a BSW program.

The minimum requirement to work as a Social Worker is a Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW). There are some jobs that require you to have a Master's in Social Work (MSW) An associates degree only prepares you to provide basic support services. You should look into getting at least a (BSW) if you wish to work as a Social Worker. Good Luck,
