The best classes to take for Agricultural Engineering?

What classes to take in Highschool for Engineering?

  • I'm going to be a senior in highschool and i would like to be an Engineer when i grow up. I was thinking of either a civil or aeronautical Engineer. I will be taking classes such as AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP Bio. What other electives or classes should i take to prepare for schooling in Engineering?

  • Answer:

The ones you are taking are fine. Make sure you pay close attention in physics, you will be using that heavily in college and it will get a lot more complicated. Also take whatever higher maths are being offered at your school and if there's any technical drawing courses they would help as well (such as AutoCad). Also try to join any engineering or math clubs at your school or create one if there isnt any (what matters is that universities see that you want to get involved).

take any laboratory science classes your school offers, or math electives (if your school offers them)

Don't forget chemistry because you will need that also. Almost all disciplines have that as a part of the undergraduate work.
