The Easter bunny and God are two separate entities and one has nothing in common with the other. Non-believers like the Easter bunny; but Believers honor the Creator and Savior of the World, Jesus Christ who came back to life after 3 days in the tomb, and later went on into heaven where he awaits the end of the world when He'll welcome all His adopted children home in paradise.

I have never met an atheist who thought that (or at least not one who was older than about 10). The adult Atheists I know see Easter or similar spring holidays as a cultural phenomenon celebrated in a variety of ways.
