What's wrong with watchseries.eu?

I recently discovered this new site called watchseries.eu. It's for watching tv shows, and all that. Today, I wanted to check out a new episode, but whenever I open the links the website has provided, the whole page just lags and I have to open up the windows task manager and re-open the whole browser. I downloaded Chrome, and Mozilla firefox, but either seems to not work. Is there something wrong with the site itself, or the my laptop? Because it's also the same with the other sites, like tv-links.com, sidereel.com, and all that. Any help would be sincerely appreciated, thanks.
