What is a good, cheap 75-150 watt amp?

  • I need an amp that has a good clean sound (I play folk music and metal), distortion doesn't matter much because I have really nice pedals so it wont matter much for when I play with the metal band I am in, I just want a good combo amp (or if you can find a cheap half stack, that'd be better. I want to start gigging soon. So this amp needs to be a good live amp. I am trying to spend less than 300 dollars, so if you could help me find something that'd be great. I do not want any Line 6 or crate products I have had bad experience with both.

    Kustom has some alright cheap solid state amps. Crates and Line 6 definitely suck balls. Some of the Sunn combo amps are pretty giggable and cheap as well. Of course those are solid state too.
