Help me make a list of the best bands of the 90s! BQ - Who are your top 5 favorite 90s rock bands/performers?

• The purpose of this list is to do a comparison of all other bands from other decades to determine whether the 90s is the quintessential and seminal decade for rock music. I want to focus mainly on rock bands that do not necessarily attract a mainstream pop following, but are also neither too alternative, obscure of only attract an underground cult following. I also want to focus mainly on those rock bands that had their most formative years in the 90s.
