How long will it take for mildly irritated eye to heal?
-
I am new to contact lenses and earlier had a bit of a panick when i was trying to take them out, dont worry I did wash my hands and know how to remove contact lenses as I have done it perfectly for a week but today it took me a little longer t remove them causing the vessels in my left eye to become a bit inflamed, I would like to know on average how long it may take for my eye to go back to normal, I will not be applying contact lenses whilst my eye is healing.

Answer:
Youve done everything correct and eyes normaly become a bit irritated if you have trouble getting it out. I would say after a nights sleep it should be good as new...occasionally ive had to keep my lens out for 2 days but its a hard gas permeable one i have.
