Chinchilla has a eye infection what can I do for him?

Can these be symptoms of eye infection?

  • Floaters( every now and then)---> last one was like 2 days ago Light flashes ( like stars. i get these at night)-- Sometimes here coloured Soreness -when moving eye left or right Shadow when blinking in the dark ( last happend 2 days ago ) Headlights ( if noticed once or twice when i wake up i see like a light go by like a headlight its not confirmed its my eye playing up but it could be. but then again cars usually pass my house now and then) Also 3 days ago my eye was weird and sticky. in situation like this a 17 year old starts to freak out much like myself i went to the hospital today and got it checked out. the doc did a test on vision and reading , a dye test, and a look at my eye though a micro scope. he said there doesnt seem to be anything wrong but said it could be a infection and to use antibiotic eye drops for a few days and to put em on 4 times a day. iv read about retinal tear and detachment and im really freaking out i remember like a week or maybe two weeks ago i was putting in my contact lenses and my left one kinda hot stuck or something and started to hurt and went red but the contact settled down and my eye felt a little sore but was ok. the doc also said he isnt a EYE SPECIALIST but said he will check it out for any damage. could it just be a infection ? he said to see how it goes for 5 days or so . i remember after i told him about the sticky eye thingy he said to jsut apply the eye drops four times a day on the left eye only. im trying to convince my mum to take me to the specialist cause im worried but she said " you not the only one that worried. dont worry just go with what he said. let see after a few days" . but im still scared im scared of sleeping at night and waking up without any vision and il be blind or something I REALLY NEED YOUR ADVICE PLEASE SOMEONE OUT THERE CAN HELP ME
