Can I get an accounting job with a misdemeanor? Also should I major in Accounting?
-
How will I find a job afterwards? What are some requirements? Any advice please Okay my little problem or big one is that I have a misdemeanor in shoplifting but it was minor and I was 19... I am still hoping to be able to find and job as an accountant. I have learned from the mistake and I changed but the public is so judgemental... I am Bilingual Spanish/eng and I am a good looking female. So based on those facts I assume it's still likely to find a job after graduation.. What do y'all think?

Answer:
You should be able to although it might make it a little more difficult. You would be able to explain about it at your interview. If you had convictions for embezzlement then you'd have no chance.
