I had 2 back to back interviews today where I was told I was hired I just needed to do the drug/background check which I will pass easily. I want to know what day Walmart typically holds their orientation because this coming weekend I have a wedding I have to go to friday night to sunday night two states over. I'm hoping orientation isn't on the weekend. Does anyone know when it is usually held and if it is on the weekend if I could have orientation another day since I have had this weekend booked before I got the job offer.

Usually Wal-Mart hosts orientation through the week. Your drug/background check probably will not be available to them by Friday, and even if it is, my guess is that you should squeak by...your orientation probably would not start until Monday at earliest.
