Medical Assistant: Front Office & Medical Assistant: Back Office, what is the difference?

Answer:
I am only making an assumption here... Front office would be the appointment maker, chart puller, etc. Back office would be the one who puts in the reports in the chart, possibly calls the patient for test results, etc.

Have you ever been to the docs? When you go to the docs, the people who answer phones, schedule appointments, take your insurance, etc etc are the "front office". The people who take you back, get your vitals, urine, blood, set up & clean the rooms, help the provider, bandage etc are the "back office".
