How do you have lucid dreams?

I never remember vivid dreams, they're never vivid, how can i lucid dream?

  • i want to get into this topic again. i have very blurry weak dreams, and i mean weak as in: they are not vivid at ALL in fact my only vivid dreams i have, that are "really vivid" (in my own understanding) only last a short bit, maybe 10 seconds then it gets more and more "non-vivid" i believe that, the dreams that i don't remember in my real life, are the ones that are very vivid to me can anyone share their experiences, especially if your dreams were non-vivid also, and how did you get to remember vivid ones i would also like to ask for some links to websites you recommend on lucid dreaming i really want to have this amazing experience! and to remember it! it sounds so inspiring thank you

  • Answer:

Dreams are not fully vivid at all. If you wanna take control then it is not an easy task. but before sleeping if you take a long fresh breath and think that you want to remember your dream it helps you to do that.

Try jumping into the air a few times a day when nobody is around. Do this daily. After three to four weeks, if you've been consistent, you'll have a dream where you jump into the air. But in dreams, we don't just drop back to the ground, we float back down. Then you'll know you're in a dream.

i have lucid dreamed a few times, self taught, heres what i do: keep a dream journal. anytime you do remember anything about ANY of your dreams, write it down. we dream every single night, just cant always remember. so the book will fill up in no time. This is kind of annoying when youwake up in the middle of the night or 20 mins before your alarm goes off and you just wantto go back to sleep - but dont! write it down or you will forget! once you have a couple dreams written down, read over them and pick out some patterns. for instance my dreams ALWAYS include other people, and usually take place inside. recognizing patterns in your dreams will help you realize when you are dreaming. this may sound silly, but every time you think of it throughout the day, ask yourself "am i dreaming"? reach out and touch something, read some text, anything to confirm its real life. if you get into the habit of asking yourself this while awake, it will be easier when asleep. think of a goal for lucid dreaming, an overall goal (mine is to talk to animals) and a short term goal, because you can't just start flying right away.you have to start small, like bringing your hands up infront of your face. next you have to get in the right mindset before sleep. while laying in bed repeat to yourself over and over "tonight i am going to lucid dream. when i see [patterns] i am going to realize it is a dream. i am going to realize i am dreaming and [short term plan]. i am going to realize i am dreaming and become lucid. i am going to have a lucid dream" (keep repeating that until you fall asleep) this will still take a lot of practice, but you have every night of your entire life, so no rush, ITS WORTH IT! at one point you will probably almost always realize you are dreaming, but you won't be able to change it. or the dreams will be extremely vivid, but you cannot change your actions. both are still decently cool to experience. good luck! the dreamworld awaits!
