Can I use my neighborhoods' WIFI to connect my Wii to the inernet?

I am getting a Wii soon and I want to be able to connect it to the internet so I can get Netflix in my room. I get Wifi in my room from my neighborhoods' wifi. Will that be enough to connect it to the internet? I got on the internet with the same wifi on my itouch...? If not, what is the simplest/cheapest way to connect it to the internet?
