Is inputting someone's email address on Facebook 'till it's blocked considered a DoS attack?

I have an understanding of what a Denial of Service attack is, but if I constantly input someone's email address and wrong password considered a DoS attack?

No it's actually considered a flood attack. However before long they will just block your IP address from FB servers.
you are purposely entering false information to deny someone access to something.... denial of service deny someone access (by any means)
