Why do I have choppy video playback?

Choppy video playback with internet explorer but not with google chrome?

  • While playing streaming flash videos on internet explorer, the playback is choppy. This happens even when the video is completely buffered. Interestingly, when I try the same videos on google chome, the playback is fine. I have tried deleting cache, temp files, etc., updating ie, flash player, etc. Anyone know what is going on?

    That is the world attempting to remove your use of Internet Explorer. Other than Apple's Safari, IE is the worst internet browser. You are better off sticking to Chrome or Firefox, in the long run. As for your video question, IE typically has so much crap involved in it's program that it allows things to load slower. Therefore, your bandwidth is more than likely not as good as it should be.
