Why is amazon a sparse place?

Why did I place an order on Amazon but it's taking so long for it to come?

• I placed an order on the 5th of this that was supposed to be a gift for my friend. It was supposedly going to be delivered 3-5 days later but when I checked my orders the estimated delivery time was between the 11th and the 16th. Why?

  On weekends they don't work! Plus business could get delays since its Easter. Reasons? 1. Holiday! Let's all rest! 2. Deliver is held back because of some government issue 3. It is weekend -_- who would work? 4. Item is out of stock-requires forever to restock! 5. Your order is not processed yet(It takes forever for Amazon to process orders outside the U.S). Where do you live? 6. TRAFFIC! TRAFFIC! TRAFFIC! Other errors? 1. Maybe you were not at home when they delivered. Try calling your post office. A post office slip should have been in your mailbox if they failed delivering attempt. 2. Did you write a valid address for your order? 3. Try tracking your order and online support from Amazon. Well good luck. I don't recommend shopping online next time. Try going to a place by foot as it saves the money from shipping and taxes.
