How to find my birth parents by their names.?

• hello. I was adopted and have been trying to find my birth parents. I know their names and city and hospital where I was born. I even know the name I was given by them. I was adopted by a private adoption lawyer who is now deceased. I have tried a few adoption search sites such as iwasadopted.com with no luck. I have also tried facebook with no luck. I am about to go to a private investigator in the morning because I don't know what else to do. I really want to know who they are for numerous reasons. So any help on what to do will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

  There are a million ways to look, it's simply a matter of finding the one that happens to be the lucky one for you. I know people who have reconnected by finding relatives on Facebook, ancestry.com, as well as specialty adoption locator sites. I'm sure you've already done this, but try Googling their names one at a time with quotations around them and see what comes up. (if the names are common, try also listing your city or state of birth outside the quotations). You may find a family tree containing their names that a relative has set up online and that person may be able to connect you with them. I know it's frustrating and, in the end, a P.I. may be needed. Good luck to you!
