Is the inside of your wrist a sensitive place for a tattoo?

Does a tattoo hurt more on the wrist or inner finger?

• I was thinking of getting my first tattoo later on in the year. I want to get a plain black infinite sign. I would say I'm not too good with pain, so I'm trying to avoid having to go through pain as much as I can. I originally thought of getting it on the inside of my middle finger, on part closest to the hand. Then I read a lot about the tattoo fading quickly, smudging and being very painful. So, I thought of getting the tattoo on my wrist. I have played volleyball for 4 years, so my wrist has toughened up a bit from the ball, I don't know if that helps? I'm a skinny person, so my body is overall very bony and thin. Do you think the tattoo would hurt less on the wrist or finger? Which place would be best to get my first tattoo? Thank you! :)

  both are going to hurt - the inner wrist is painful and from my experience it felt like I'd been punched in the arm - the reason being that the tat was over the nerves at the join of my wrist. Your inner finger is going to be like your inner arm - sensitive. Either way is going to hurt, but probably not too bad to be honest.
