How should I go about creating a website?

  • I have been writing a book for the last year, now that I am done, I would now like to create my own blog and website for selling and advertising my book. I don't really understand how to create my website. Should I use godaddy.com or wordpress.com? Are these websites used to just register a domain name or can I use them to actually make my website? lets say I registered my domain on wordpress, will I be able to log into wordpress and then build up my website?
