How Do I Get More Votes And Ensure I Win This Contest? HELP!!!?

  • The wife and I have entered a local contest in order to win a desperately needed couch. We were leading the contest by quite a lot of votes however all of a sudden a competitor quadrupled their votes overnight! (I don't want to make any accusations) but I need to figure out a way to get back in the lead and win. Contest runs til April 13 and ends at 11:59pm so how can I get back in the lead and also make sure we get more votes in before the end?     I'm not sure about how they would be cheating like did they get 100 or more votes over night? that can be common but if its more like 300-500 votes in a day that usually points to cheating but not always. however if your contest allows it I run a site where users from different contests help eachother out. Just make sure your contest allows it. the site is www.contestgalaxy.com Also a good site to read up is www.contestmob.com/blog . it tells a lot about how contests are run and what to do and how to possible find cheaters etc.

I think may not be cheating, but are just telling other people they know to vote for them. They may also have a blog or something where they are 'internet-famous' and promote themselves on that. I myself is in a competition and failing to win because of the same reason. If you are VERY desperate then you could 'cheat'.
